MY STORY

Ian, now in his mid 50's is a husband a father and grandfather to Freddie as well as a son and a brother.  His passion for all things Swim Bike Run started as long back as he can remember with the local swimming club, as a teenager his true passion came to the fore as he started cycling and has never stopped.
In 2009 he decided to give Triathlon a go and targeted Ironman France as his first ever triathlon, from here he has never looked back. Competing at Ironman events across Europe in Austria, Switzerland, back in France, Lanzarote and of course UK.  He has also represented the GB age group team in both World and European championships at Olympic distance in Triathlon and Duathlon. He is also a UK Athletics Coach in Running fitness and an Ironman certified coach.
All this he has accomplished as a family man whilst holding down what was probably best described as a stressful full time job, so he truly does understand that training has to fit around peoples busy lives. More recently having suffered a cardiac scare he has walked away from his previous career, taken the bull by the horns and made a full time commitment to helping athletes achieve their individual goals.
